The article describes the concept of corporate information portal, its types and classification. The main features of both Internet portals and corporate portal are described. The concept of corporate information system is considered both in the classical version and under the enterprise concept of Enterprise 2.0. The problem of use of ideas of social networks in corporate information systems is presented.
