Abstract
Developing a technology of natural water purification for drinking purposes in emergency situation: active chlorine production through elecrolysis of natural water
Incoming article date: 23.06.2016In our work we researched the possibility of producing active chlorine out of fresh natural water through it's direct elecrolysis. We discovered how the anode's corrosion resistanse relates to the ruthenium oxide and iridium oxide ratio in the anode's coating. We also researched their properties: chlorine outcom dependance on current, cell voltage, and active chlorine concentration increase dynamics in processed water from Don river.
