Multisim and LabVIEW usage in the instrument-making bachelor educational process
Abstract
Multisim and LabVIEW usage in the instrument-making bachelor educational process
Incoming article date: 02.11.2018The article deals with the joint usage issues of the Multisim simulation program and LabVIEW graphical programming environment in the laboratory workshop of students of "Instrument making", "Standardization and Metrology" and "Biotechnical systems and technologies" in the study of "Microprocessor technology" and "Microprocessor systems development methods and tools " disciplines , as well as in the interdisciplinary project implementation. Multisim program allows you to perform developed microprocessor devices software and hardware complex simulation. The LabVIEW environment provides the opportunity to use real physical input signals in the simulation process, to perform additional processing of simulation results, as well as to simulate data processing algorithms at the initial stage of microprocessor devices development. The laboratory work experience using Multisim and LabVIEW, as well as interdisciplinary design at the Department of information measuring technologies and systems showed that the skills acquired by students in the digital devices software and hardware development enable students to successfully perform final qualifying work.
