The problem of preserving the architectural and urban planning heritage of Monchegorsk
Incoming article date: 01.04.2024The article examines the process of development of the architectural and planning structure of Monchegorsk in the period of the 1930s – 1950s and defines its specific features. The issue of the current state of the architectural heritage of the city and the problems of its preservation is investigated. The proposals aimed at preserving valuable elements of the planning and architectural landscape, as well as historical architectural objects in the context of modern urban development are given.
